Kilograms to Pounds – Multiply number of Kilograms by 2.20462 to obtain Pounds

Pounds to Kilograms – Multiply number of Pounds by .45359 to obtain Kilograms

Determine Cubic Feet – Multiply Length x Width x Height and divide by 1728 to obtain Cubic Feet. Example: 40"x48"x54" = 103,680 divided by 1728 = 60 cubic feet

Cubic Feet to Linear Feet – Divide Cubic Feet by 58 to obtain Linear Feet. Example: 464 divided by 58 = 8 Linear Feet of trailer space

Inches to Centimeters – Multiply Inches by 2.54 to obtain Centimeters

Centimeters to Inches – Multiply Centimeters by .3837 to obtain Inches

Determine Density for NMFC Density Items – Determine the Cubic Feet of item being shipped. Divide the weight by the number of Cubic Feet to obtain Density. Example: If shipment weighs 500 lbs. and Cubic Feet is 60, then 500 divided by 60 = 8.3 pounds per cubic foot

Dimensional Weight for Air Freight - Domestic – Multiply Length x Width x Height and divide by 194 to obtain Domestic Dimensional Weight. Example: 40"x48"x54" = 103,680 divided by 194 = 534 lbs. Dimensional Weight

Dimensional Weight for Air Freight - International – Multiply Length x Width x Height and divide by 166 to obtain International Dimensional Weight. Example: 40"x48"x54" = 103,680 divided by 166 = 625 lbs. Dimensional Weight
