PACK EXPO is a highly anticipated show for the packaging industry. It's also one of Creative Transportation Services' (CTS) busiest trade shows supporting exhibitors with their logistics needs. This year's show was held Sept. 23-25, 2019 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. According to Pack Expo's press release, "the show brings 2,000+ machinery suppliers together with end users across 40+ vertical industries for the largest, most comprehensive packaging event of the year, and approaching 900,000 net square feet — the largest PACK EXPO Las Vegas and Healthcare Packaging EXPO to date. The show is produced by PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies."
For PACK EXPO 2019, CTS was selected by 70+ exhibitors to manage their shipping needs. Many of CTS' customers are long-time, returning, however, there were also customers who were using CTS for the first time. The convention center filled up with a total of 30,000 attendees seeking out the latest packaging innovations being showcased. These machines are fragile, large, some are one of a kind prototypes and majority are valued at hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars. Therefore, it's highly recommended for the exhibitors to source a logistics carrier that has the knowledge and experience to handle such materials with the upmost care and service.
In preparation for PACK EXPO, CTS combined its 'Top Trade Show Shipping Tips' into a short video, highlighting key aspects an exhibitor would find helpful when coordinating their booth materials. Trade show planning has a lot of areas to cover for the exhibitor, and CTS aims to ease this part of the planning process so the focus can be turned to other important aspects in planning and preparation for the show.

By being on site pre-show, during the show, and post-show, CTS logistics specialists who attend have the opportunity to meet with customers in person and the ability to support customers with the move out process (which can be overwhelming after a few packed days of exhibiting). The move out process includes labeling crates and completing paperwork, so a second pair of eyes can help ensure these tasks are done successfully and ensure their shipments are safely and securely loaded by show personnel and moved to the correct destination.
